To motivate I hope others not to give up on their faith in God in the middle of despairing flames struggles brings in this life. Encourage others, show other a selfless part of me after the murder of my son. I wanted to write a book to push others not to give up in your faith run, don't stop nor quit.

I was in my walker chair outside talking with God.
I told God
"Lord, I feel like quitting,
"I give up" I'm tired of fighting with everyone in my life."
I had just loss my son four month prior to this book, I'd dedicated to my son Antoine Jermaine Lax homicide murder victim. Antoine to Houston, Texas to find work for himself. 4 days later shot down cold blooded murder.
A white man name Jeremy Davidson shot Antoine multiple times in his back while he was trying to enter his hotel room. This took a big blow on me. A parent burying your child before you. A single mom child was murder at the age of 38.
As I was talking with God. God told me to look back how far you have come.
Who will you go back to?
What Place will you go back too?
Then the Holy Spirit said, "Why Quit in the Middle of Your Faith Race?"
Remember in the bible Paul says" "2 Timothy 4:7-8
New International Version 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
This is how the title came to me. My son Antoine still would want his mom not to give up on her faith. I raised all four of my children in the faith race. 
What Makes Your Book so Special from Other People Books?Let's truly acknowledge that a lot of people been through some crappy things in their lives. We all have a story to tell and share with others. However, it takes bravery, persistence, determination, hard self-work, to even get to the point of sharing with others. I am my own brand. I am original in my own unique way. There's no competition in faith race. We move with God at our own pace. No one author is the same.

We can admire one another works but we all possess our own uniquely blended words in a book. Every writer in the synoptic gospel in the New Testament style of writing was similar yet different. For example: Matthew version the "tax collector" was different from Luke "the doctor" version.
We all came to earth with our own unique way to sing a note, write a letter through written words of expression as I am doing right now. Speaking to you with the words flowing down from my mind thoughts into my hands to type or write in out. Some people just don't want to believe enough in themselves to start writing.
